Exposition included graphics and paintings of different ages, from school years till the last days of living: portraits, still-life paintings, landscapes made in different techniques and also pencil drawings and sketches. Sergey Titov lived a short but intense creative life. He died during the failure of the Soviet Union and
rising of contemporary Russia. It was difficult period for the artist as well as for all the country. In 1993 at the Union of architects big post mortem exhibition of the artist was hold. In 1994 by the Leningrad channel «Russian video» the movie about Sergey Titov was shot. In 1997 the movie was reshot by Leningrad regional television and fragments about creativity of mother and wife of the artist were added and was called «Once upon a time there lived artists named by Titov».
In 2012 at the House of architects exhibition of Sergey Titov was hold, devoted to his 75-anniversary and 25-anniversary of his death. The uniqueness of the exhibition «Once upon a time there lived such an artist. Sergey Titov» is that this is the last retrospective exhibition of his creativity in Russia.
