Alexandra Speranskaya was born and raised in Leningrad. She studied at the Ioganson Art Lyceum, and later graduated from the Ilya Repin State Academic Institute of fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture. The artist lives and works in St. Petersburg. Together with Halim Amirov, she opened an art school, where she teaches today.
