Pastel watercolors

The exhibition is dedicated to the release of Evgeny Dubitsky's monograph, which was issued by the "Planet of Music" publishing house in late summer  2016.

 

The exhibition will feature about 40 original works of the artist, included in the book "E. Dubitsky. Pastel watercolor".

The audience will see the unique artist's world, filled with ringing silence; like no one else, he feels the northern nature, it's quiet humility, transparency and depth.

Evgeny Dubitsky, an artist from Saint Petersburg (Leningrad), was born in Kazan, on June, 12 1951.

In 1970, he graduated from Kazan Art School; in 1976, from Ilya Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture (Academy of Arts), Graphic Arts faculty. Since 1990, member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Participant of more than 100 exhibitions (including 17 personal exhibitions) in Saint Petersburg and other cities of Russia and abroad. The artist works in the techniques of watercolor and pastel, pencil drawing; is engaged in printmaking, mainly etching. Teaches master classes in pastel and watercolor techniques.  The artist's works are hold in museums and private collections.
