Personal exhibition of artworks by Pavel Eskov is held traditionally in March in Molbert art gallery. This year his landscape paintings – views of the city – are on show.
Pavel Eskov is a talented young painter whose main area of interest is landscape painting. He is famous for his urban landscapes that reflect the artist’s attempt to understand and experience his home city St. Petersburg. Pavel Eskov is keen on preserving traditions of Russian realistic art which he combines with using impressionist creative method – this makes his artistic manner unique and exclusive. He graduated from the Russian Academy of Fine Arts and is a member of the Russian Union of Artists. Pavel Eskov participated in more than 100 exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
Born 1981 Leningrad, Russia. In 1998-2005 studied at Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Easel-painting Department, workshop of professor Pimenov. Member of Russian Union of Artists. Participated in over 100 Russian and international projects and exhibitions, including 19 solo exhibitions in Russia and China. Winner of the Competition Muses of St. Petersburg, second place in the Royal Institute of Oil Painters competition, UK. Works held in private collections in Russia, China, UK, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, France, USA, Canada.
