Expedition

The exhibition's name is a good description of Alexander and Dasha's lifestyle: always on the road, always open to a new, interesting discovery, to a new experience. Artists travel together around the world. Wherever they are, whatever they see, they put their observations and emotions on paper.

Alexander Votsmushworks in watercolor. His works are expressive, ironic and deep. Each painting has its own exceptional mood and a complete plot, combining echoes of fantasy dreams and real life events. Signatures to the works, written by the artist himself, are witty and unique.

Dasha Rybina"artistically studies" each new city during travels and reflects what she sees both in small drawings, which make up a "logbook", a "traveler's notes" in a sketchbook and in larger graphic works, drawn with colored pencils in a silvery complex scheme.

"If I hadn't draw, I'd just travel" - says artist Dasha Rybina.
