Feel yourself alive!

This autumn in Molbert art-gallery the first personal exhibition of Petersburg graphics artist Lena Zagidullina will take place. Artist graduated with honours from I.E.Repin academic University of painting, sculpture and architecture (faculty of graphics, book art). In 2014 completed a graduate internship in Italy from Academy of Arts and later won the competition of Igor Minakov «Sport». Elena is a member of Artists Union, participant of various exhibitions and competitions.

Works presented at the exhibitions are all from different periods and presented as one series and reflect artist’s views about art completely. Elena’s conception is similar with the conception of impressionists: in visual environment she is captivated by air, sun, movement, rhythm, color… Filled with ease and optimism Elena’s works show moments of sunny summer that we lack so much in Saint-Petersburg. Significant silhouettes and notes of humor especially visible in portraits make everyday scenes caught precisely vivid, and saturated palette and quick stroke fill the landscapes of shimmering light and color.
