Inspirations

INSPIRATION (Inspiration) is the first exhibition project of Christina Tung in our city, but the acquaintance and cooperation with cultural figures of St. Petersburg took place in January 2018, when she supported the production of “Swan Lake” St. Petersburg Theater \"Russian Ballet\" in the Hong Kong Cultural Center, which also organized an exhibition of her works.

At the exhibitions \"Inspiration\", will be presented painting (colored ink on rice paper) and ceramics of the painter, made in recent years. Her paintings combine the traditional Chinese writing technique and modern techniques. Pictures, are filled with deep meaning and life-affirming start. Immerse yourself in the refined beauty of the East, feel its magical combination of colors, sounds and aromas, you can come to one of these inserts.

The INSPIRATION project will be held at two landmark exhibition venues in the city:

Christina Tung Wai

Christina Tung Wai, was born and lives in Hong Kong. She is a member of the 4-d Art Club Art Committee and a member of the Shine Art Association. As well as the founder of a number of art galleries in Hong Kong, its first gallery, the Cheer Bell Gallery, was opened in 2015, and many exhibitions of various outstanding contemporary painters, including world celebrities, have already taken place on its site.

The task of Madame Tung Wai is not only to support art, but also to tell the public about it. Christina is actively engaged in cultural and educational activities in the field of visual arts in her homeland. In April 2016, at the invitation of the local online television “Made in Hong Kong,” she acted as the host of the “Beauty of Arts” program, in which she interviewed many masters and told the public about the news in the art world. In order to better accomplish her missions Christina herself wrote the script and acted as a program director.

 

Short biographical data:

In 2010, under the strict guidance of the famous ceramist Janet Zuo, Christine discovered the refined world of ceramics, and then the doors to the world of fine art opened for her.

Since 2011, Christina has studied with the modern master of ink painting Lam Tian Sing and the master of the Linnan school of ink painting Lam Wu Fui.

In February and March 2018, Christina began to study Chinese calligraphy with the masters Yu Yon Kong and the Chinese calligrapher Mr. Chun Sing Quo.

Christina is a member of the 4-d Art Club Art Committee and a member of the Shine Art Association.
