Motherhood

Painting exhibition of classical school of the Russian realism. Artists of different ages will be exhibited (middle of XX century – nowadays), whose paintings have common theme – love to motherhood. Full of light, colorful landscapes of Central Russia, Ural and Siberia, scenes of living in Russian village demonstrate vast beauty of our motherhood. Works of many artists presented here you could have already seen in our gallery – Rezyab Vakilov, Gelya Pisareva,

Gennadiy Gerasimov, Pavel Eskov, Dmitry Permyakov. Each of them – established master, professional and virtuso. Painters work in different manner and with different plots, however, they all have deep understanding of national life. Paintings of these artists materialize the spirit of the Russian culture, width of soul and open heart of the Russian.

Gelya Pisareva

Gelya Pisareva (born in 1933) – sculptor, painter, graphic artist, graduate of the University of

painting, sculpture and architecture of I.E.Repin at the Academy of Arts of USSR. Member of

artist union, member of creative society “Ozerki – village of artists”. Works of the painter are

presented at the State Tretyakov gallery, Museum of modern art (Moscow), the State Russian

Museum, Erarta and other Russian museums, private collections and abroad.

Pavel Eskov

In 2005 graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of painting, sculpture and architecture

of I.E.Repin (studio of V.V.Pimenov). Member of artists union of Russia. Participant of more

than 100 Russian and international exhibitions and projects (in Russia and China), laureate of

international competitions. Works of Pavel Eskov are collected in Russia, China, England,

Chech Republic, USA, Finland, Germany, Greece, France, Canada. Works of the artist are

purchased at the gift fund of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Rezyab Vakilov

Born in 1948 – soviet painter, student of B.F.Domashnikov. Since 1991 – member of Artists

Union, repeated participant of personal exhibition in Moscow, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Elabug. Works

of Vakilov are kept in private collections in Germany, Israel, USA, museum of «Contemporary

art» in Chelyabinsk, museum of Nesterov in Ufa. At the beginning of 90-ties his personal

exhibition in Ufa was completely bought by the Belgian company. Still his works are asked for

by national and foreign art experts.

Dmitry Permyakov

Dmitry Permyakov lives and works in Perm. Graduated from Vatskiy art school of A.A.Rylov.

In 2010 graduated from Ural department of the Russian Academy of Painting, sculpture and

architecture. Dmitry Permyakov during his study was awarded repeatedly by diplomas and prizes

for achievements in painting and composition. Works of the artist are kept in private collections

in Russia, Europe and USA.

Gennadiy Gerasimov

Gennadiy Gerasimov – Petersburg painter, graduate of Saint-Petersburg University of painting,

sculpture and architecture of I.E.Repin (studio of V.V.Zagonek). Has been participating in

exhibitions since 1999 Member of the Artists Union of Russia since 2008 Paintings of

Gennadiy Gerasimov are kept in private collections in Holland, England, Russia. The artist

works in the genre of landscape, oil painting technique. The main feature is combination of

techniques of realistic and decorative painting.
