Prints of the East

“Thanks to this exhibition, we can see the transfer of Professor Ma Chzhimin from the early traditional expressive techniques to modern methods of expressiveness, filled with obvious cultural reflections - this is precisely the painters bright pictorial language, which has an “Prints of the East”. The images in the paintings of Ma Chzhimin do not have an unequivocal meaning, but they create a visual texture of roughness, dryness, old age, naturalness, and also the effect of weathering. That is how the unusual oriental images merged with the expressiveness of Western painting. Liao Chzhendin (Ph.D. in Art History, Honorary Professor at the Russian State Pedagogical University named after AI Herzen, teacher of oil painting at the Art Institute of Jiangxi Pedagogical University, director of the International Education Center”
