An exhibition of landscape graphics by St. Petersburg artists


  Presents the works by famous pastelist Sergey Usik, a renowned St. Petersburg artist whose talent has been recognized by the professional community and art fans in Russia and abroad. A member of the Russian Union of Artists and the IFA, a recognized pastel maitre in France, he is rightfully considered one of the most successful artists of St. Petersburg. Sergey Usil has spent more than 25 years of his life to perfecting his pastel technique. He has traveled widely, participating in international exhibitions and becoming laureate of various international competitions. This exhibition presents some of his new pieces painted at plain-air events abroad.

Currently Mr. Usik is working on a book, in which he will share with young artists his experience in pastel painting. The advice and commentary of the author of the upcoming book are presented in Molbert Gallery.

The exhibition also presents works by young talented artists - Rodion Polozov, Elmira Mustafina, and Anastasia Dukhanina. They present their watercolors, pastels and other types of graphics.
