The funniest doctor, the kindest and always young artist Alexander Voitsekhovsky five years after comes back to Molbert gallery to bring some happiness to his numerous friends and fans, his new book and new works! His drawings are naive and ironical as usual, each of them tells unusual amusing story, touching and kind as the artist himself. Creativity of «Petrovich» as his friends call him doesn’t leave anyone indifferent, it’s clear and close to children and Nestors, it’s naive and pure as exciting smile of a child, it leaves you disarmed and make you smile in response. And it seems that the words of the great classic F.M. Dostoyevsky «Beauty saves the world if it’s kind» applies exactly to the paintings of Alexander Voitsekhovsky!

Alexander Voitsehovskiy

Was born in 1964 in Moscow.

Lives in Saint-Petersburg.

Has been travelling since childhood. Firstly with his father-surveyor, then together with archeological expeditions. He dreamt his future work to be connected with travelling.

According to his family traditions he entered medical university. Worked as a doctor for 10 years.

Started to paint during his student years. Just to make fun for his acquaintances and friends. In 1994 initiated by his friends organized his first exhibition. And then the second and the third ones.

In 2003 after his book «My eternal friend» was issued he left medicine and devoted himself to art only.
