The "Train of Life"

The exhibition includes sculptures from the series the "Train of Life" and the "Inner Path", as well as author's collages. 

"My sculptures show human destiny in connection with the passing time that shapes our lives. They are associated with mechanical "every day". My heroes are earthly. They are people like you and me. A human is at the centre of my worldview. I elaborate on series of my favorite topics to exhaust them, and sometimes return to them. One of my favorite topics is the "Train of Life" - people and wheels. Wheels are often present in my sculptures. They symbolize both the clock and the mechanical world in which we are willingly or unwillingly immersed. Each of us is immersed in a train of his own destiny. In this concept, each of my sculptures is a car of the big "Train of Life". Another topic is the "Inner Path". It depicts a little man walking inside a large head, which symbolizes humanity. He is looking for an explanation or, perhaps, an answer to the fundamental questions: "Where am I coming from, why, where am I going?..". V. Hofmann.
